Ascent Software is looking for ambitious and talented individuals to fill the following positions:


C++ Developers (Malta)

Ascent Software has a number of vacancies for skilled and experienced C++ Developers with a passion for technology. Applicants must hold a first degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or ICT and must have at least one year experience in C++ development. The position involves working in teams of 2 to 4 people on development of device drivers, virtual drivers, simulators, embedded OSes, and diagnostic/testing tools. Applicants must have good spoken and written English and be prepared to occasional travel to client sites (maximum 2 weeks per quarter). Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.


.Net and Java Developers (Malta)

This position involves building full lifecycle C#, ASP.NET or Java applications at Ascent Software. Applicants must hold a first degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or ICT and should preferably have experience working with C#/ASP. NET or Java/EJB/J2EE. Although not essential, knowledge of and experience in MVC, MS SQL Server, T-SQL, AJAX, WCF, WPF, WinForms, XML and XSL, UML, and MS Reporting Services will be considered an advantage. The successful applicants will work in teams of 3 to 6 specialists.


SharePoint Developers (Malta)

As a SharePoint developer, you will work with a project manager in teams of 3 to 6 specialists and be involved in designing and developing web applications using MS SharePoint technologies. Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year experience in Microsoft SharePoint customization and development and will ideally hold a degree in Mathematics or ICT. Experience and skills in C#, ASP.NET, SQL, T-SQL, MVC, XML, and UML will be considered an asset.
